The Bukovina Society of the Americas just posted some information about a contact in Czernowitz, who wants to connect with people in the Americas, who have ancestors in Bukovina and Galicia.
We cannot vogue for anything, but I can personally say that I chatted with a contact whom he mentioned in my own US State, and I believe that he is totally reliable.
I can provide to you information about him via his previous business contact if you reply to me.

Franziska Hilgarth was born in Gurahumora. Her Hilgarth ancestors came from Bohemia. They were original settlers in Bori. Her mother’s ancestors were already in Gurahumora around the 1820’s.

The name Schmidt is pretty common, “Presser”, is probably “Prosser,” a fairly common Bohemian German name that shows up in Bukovina. Appel is found around Radautz, apparently coming from the Palatinate. Wild, Klein, and Müller are also pretty common. Müller is also a common Bohemian German name.
