Frank / Arndt Family

Hello,

I am writing to ask for some help with tracing my family tree. My great-grandparents emigrated to the United States through from Bukovina between 1911-1914 via New York City. They were Lutheran and spoke German.

I don’t have a lot of information, but this is what I know:

– My great grandfather, Jakob Frank was born about 1894 in Neu Itzkany, Suceava, Romania. I believe he was the son of Andreas Frank and Luise Braun, also from the general region.
– His wife, Johanna Arndt (b. about 1894 – Mitoka Dragomira / Mitoka Dragomirestie, Suceava, Romania). Her parents were Adam Arndt and Karoline Fiesel, also from the general region.

I’m hoping someone might be able to point me to more details.
