This trunk was used by Anna (Haas) Armbrüster in June 1905 as she joined her husband Johann, who had arrived in Baltimore on 12 January, and was living in Ellis. She traveled by train from Illischestie to Bremen, where she sailed to Baltimore on the SS Brandenburg, departing 18 May 1904. The family, then traveled by train to Ellis.
